Have you ever been to Dubai?

I haven't, but I do have some dolls from Dubai. These are cute plush dolls by Camel Company. I got Mustafa and Aisha Habibi. I kept their tags cause they contain short descriptions of the dolls.

Byliście kiedyś w Dubaju? Ja nie, ale lalki stamtąd mam. Urocze pluszowe lalki wyprodukowała firma Camel Company. Mam Mustafę i Aishę Habibi. Zachowałam ich metki, ponieważ zawierają krótkie opisy lalek.

Mustafa is the father of the family. He enjoys camel races and camping in the desert. Aisha is his tradition-loving daughter. There is also mother Laila, son Ali and a fairytale character Aladdin.

Mustafa jest ojcem rodziny. Lubi wyścigi wielbłądów i wycieczki na pustynię. Aisha jest jego kochającą tradycję córką. Jest jeszcze matka Laila, syn Ali i Aladyn z baśni.

There is a ~15cm and ~40cm version. Mine is of course the smaller one. Fun fact: Aisha is taller than her father!

Istnieje wersja ~15cm i ~40cm. Moje są oczywiście te mniejsze. Zabawne: Aisha jest wyższa od ojca!

These dolls are something totally different from what I usually collect.

Te lalki są czymś całkiem innym od tego, co zwykle zbieram.

Spring seems to start early this year, so I took the dolls to look for its first hallmarks.

Wiosna zdaje się zaczynać wcześnie w tym roku, więc zabrałam lalki na poszukiwanie jej pierwszych znaków.

Lodka doll and a bit of local history

While looking for an inspiration to participate in Heather's Adventurer's Club I stumbled upon a local project - a doll named Lodka, created by Monika Onoszko to promote young and talented fashion designers from Lodz city. It is quite fresh as until now the doll had two fashion collections - fall/winter and spring - created for her. You can read more here. I found out that for a short period of time, until 6. march, you can see the doll in the Museum of the Factory. Admission free!

I've decided to go there and check it out for you. ;) And I finally knew what I wanted to show in this month's theme of the Club.

My first own template

Finally, after more than two years I made something I could call the first decent template for my blog. I feel spring in the air!

Oh, speaking of two years, I missed my second anniversary! No loss, since I almost hit 100 posts, there will be a GIVEAWAY CANDY on 100th post!

W końcu, po ponad dwóch latach stworzyłam coś, co mogę nazwać pierwszym przyzwoitym szablonem dla mojego bloga. Czuję wiosnę!

O, mówiąc o dwóch latach, przegapiłam drugą rocznicę bloga! Nic straconego, ponieważ zbliżam się do setnego posta, będzie w nim ROZDAWAJKA!

I rozważam publikowanie w dwóch językach od czasu do czasu, ok?
