Time flies

So many things have piled up that I don't even know how to name this post. I've broken my computer and been cut off for three weeks. Painful. But I guess I'm back.

Tyle rzeczy się uzbierało, że nie wiem nawet jak zatytułować ten post. Popsułam sobie komputer i byłam odcięta przez trzy tygodnie. Bolesne. Wydaje mi się, że wróciłam. 

However, my dolls weren't dormant. Once in a while I got to take them out for a photoshoot.
On the first day of warmth this spring Lagoona crawled out from the water.

Jednak moje lalki nie były bezczynne. Od czasu do czasu mogłam zabrać je na sesję. 
Pierwszego ciepłego dnia tej wiosny Lagoona wypełzła z wody.

Sand, sun and water, who'd need more..? ;P Well, poor Lagoona had her holiday, now I'm having a break from dolls and I haven't even released her from her traveling case.

This is the last dress I made for Lagoona last summer. It exhausted my crocheting powers. ;)
I've been waiting to show it until Lagoona got her fins back. Thanks to a dear person Lagoona's complete once again. Thank you, K.!

Accidents happen

For the first time since I came to Cyprus I decided to go public with dolls. We went to an aquarium near Agia Napa. There is a garden there, so I pulled out Lagoona and tried to take some photos. It was noon, rather warm, and the contrast of sunlight and shade made it very difficult to take any decent photos. Actually, I made one. My company was growing impatient, so I grabbed Lagoona and while tucking her into a bag, noticed that she'd lost a fin. Went back looking for it and, hurray, found it in the sand! I happily put it into the bag with Lagoona and hurried away. But at home I couldn't find it! And it's gone for good. :(

Meet Lagoona

This is Lagoona Blue. Although Frankie came first to live with me, Lagoona is number 1 from the start for many reasons. She was simply a little harder to get. I will probably come back to all the reasons of her supremacy, for now, lets say, we instatnly made friends, so I decided, that she'll accompany me in my first trip to Crete.

She proved to be a good, however demanding companion. She brought her original clothes, but she quickly demanded a dress suitable for the warm mediterranean spring. I didn't have time for sewing before we left, so she made me take all supplies with me. Lucky I didn't need much clothes for me this time.
I actually made her two dresses, but she refused to change on the beach.
