 I've finished some important work-related stuff and decided to reward myself. That might be the only good thing about 2020.

Skończyłam coś ważnego w pracy i postanowiłam się nagrodzić. To może być jedyna dobra rzecz w 2020.

I haven't seen the movie yet and do have some doubts about ethics surrounding it. But I love Mulan most of all Disney princesses.

Nie widziałam jeszcze filmu i mam pewne wątpliwości etyczne co do niego. Ale kocham Mulan najbardziej z wszystkich księżniczek Disneya.

Star Wars Stories, pt. 3 - Technical Decapitation

 In case you were curious, I've decapitated Hasbro's Star Wars Forces of Destiny Reys. Both of them. She fits the "light/pale" Obitsu.

Gdyby ktoś był ciekawy, zdekapitowałam Rey Forces of Destiny od Hasbro. Obie. Pasuje im jasne/blade Obitsu.

Both original bodies, due to molded clothes and hidden mechanisms are unacceptable to me. Some parts seemed promising, but I ended up giving up even on the somewhat nice palms, etc. Will keep the accessories and the head.

Oba ciałka, z powodu moldowanych ubrań i ukrytych mechanizmów są dla mnie nie do przyjęcia. Niektóre elementy wydawały się obiecujące, ale ostatecznie odpuściłam sobie nawet nieźle wyglądające dłonie, itd. Zatrzymam akcesoria i główkę.

Rey Forces of Destiny - head fix mechanism.

 The head is quite hard and the hole is rather small. I had to heat up the head properly.

Główka jest dość twarda, a dziura raczej mała. Musiałam porządnie rozgrzać główkę.

 

That's it, just ugly technical pictures today. I hope Rey will get a proper photo session one day.

 To by było na tyle, dzisiaj tylko brzydkie zdjęcia techniczne. Mam nadzieję, że Rey załapie się kiedyś na odpowiednią sesję fotograficzną.

Disney's Style Series Mulan or Lashes from Hell

I'm a big fan of Mulan and I already have a good dozen of her dolly depictions. However, I'm not very fond of Hasbro's Disney dolls, they seem too childish and far from their animated originals. I'm slightly tempted with the Wreck It Ralph's modern twist on the princesses, but they are slightly too expensive at the moment.
In the meantime, I got myself the Disney Style Series Mulan by Hasbro at a real bargain.

Jestem wielką miłośniczką Mulan i mam przynajmniej kilkanaście jej lalkowych wersji. Niestety, niezbyt lubię lalki Disney'a od Hasbro, wydają mi się zbyt dziecinne i odległe od animowanych pierwowzorów. Nieco kusi mnie nowoczesna wariacja na temat księżniczek od Ralpha Demolki, ale w tej chwili są jeszcze zbyt drogie. 
W międzyczasie kupiłam sobie Disney Style Series Mulan od Hasbro, bo trafiła się prawdziwa okazja.

Fashionistas Barbie No. 14 Powder Pink Dress

I got this doll for my birthday. She is my first doll with the new Barbie mold. I really like it, especially compared to the bloated Generation Girl used in the recent years. As much as I don't fancy classic blue eyed blondes, I am happy with this one - she looks young and fresh and has terrific curls.

Dostałam tę lalkę na urodziny. Jest moją pierwszą Barbie z nowym moldem. Naprawdę mi się podoba, szczególnie w porównaniu z rozdętym moldem Generation Girl uzywanym w ostatnich latach. I jak nie przepadam za błękitnookimi blondynkami, tak z tej jestem zadowolona - wygląda młodo, świeżo i ma świetne loczki.
