Sindy by Pedigree

A friend found this Sindy by Pedigree in a thrift shop and, without knowing what she was actually buying, just liking the doll and her overall condition, got her for me. This doll isn't my type, but... she's one of the lovliest and most enchanting ones I received ever!

Przyjaciółka znalazła tę Sindy od Pedigree w SH i, właściwie nie wiedząc co kupuje, kierując się ogólnie dobrym stanem lalki i tym, że jej się podobała, wzięła ją dla mnie. Ta lalka nie jest w moim typie, ale... jest jedną z najładniejszych i najbardziej uroczych, jakie kiedykolwiek dostałam!

A word from Latimeria

It was a very nice surprise that some wonderful people voted on me and let me win Kida's "pets in forbidden places" competition, but it was especially important to Latimeria, the rattie in the winning photos.
Because, you know, it is not easy being Latimeria. Born to an underaged mother, growing up with seven brothers. Being the only girl, always the smallest, and - honestly - not a very pretty one, made her tough. She had to be tougher than all her brothers combined. So, she's always two steps ahead of them, going faster and higher than any of them ever thought.
 Lati is a "patched" or "double rex" rat variety and it is normal for her to go bald from time to time. She is one year old. She lives with her mother and two brothers and the rest of the unrelated pack.

 Było dla mnie bardzo miłą niespodzianką, że niektórzy cudowni ludzie głosowali i pozwolili mi wygrać zabawę Kidy "zwierzaki w miejscach niedozwolonych", ale jeszcze ważniejsze jest to dla Latimerii, szczurki na zwycięskich zdjęciach. Bo wiecie, nie jest łatwo być Latimerią. Urodzona przez nieletnią matkę dorastała z siedmioma braćmi. Była jedyną dziewczynką, zawsze najmniejszą i - szczerze - niezbyt urodziwą, ale to sprawiło, że stała się twarda. Musiała być twardsza, niż wszyscy jej bracia razem wzięci. Dlatego jest zawsze dwa kroki przed nimi, szybciej i wyżej, niż któremukolwiek z nich przyszło by do głowy.
Lati jest odmiany zwanej "patched" albo "double rex" i łysienie od czasu do czasu jest dla niej normalne. Ma w tej chwili rok. Mieszka z mamą, dwoma braćmi i resztą niespokrewnionego stadka.

What's up or a pug in mud

Simran proposed a fun game to publish photos of our pets in forbidden places. I didn't have any at hand, cause when my ratties get in trouble, I rush to save their cuddly butts instead of taking pictures. However, it is just a matter of time before they come up with another mischief. And alas, Latimeria climbed on the washing line!

Simran zaproponowała fajną zabawę w publikowanie zdjęć naszych zwierzaków w zakazanych miejscach. Nie miałam żadnych pod ręką, bo kiedy moje szczurusie pakują się w kłopoty, rzucam się na ratunek ich kudłatym zadkom zamiast robić zdjęcia. Jednak tylko kwestią czasu było, żeby wymyśliły kolejną psotę. Proszę, Latimeria na sznurkach od prania!

Wow, this year my birthday was more than satisfying! I've been saving money on Elissabat and I finally went to buy her, but changed my mind and came back with something else (will come back to that later). I started saving again, but before I could buy another doll, I got Elissa from my sis (thanks, you're great)!

Moje urodziny w tym roku były bardziej niż satysfakcjonujące! Oszczędzałam na Elissębat i kiedy w końcu pojechałam ją kupić, zmieniłam zdanie i wróciłam z czymś innym (wrócę kiedyś do tego). Zaczęłam zbierać od nowa, ale zanim mogłam kupić lalkę, dostałam Elissę od siostry (dzięki, jesteś wielka)!

Time flies

So many things have piled up that I don't even know how to name this post. I've broken my computer and been cut off for three weeks. Painful. But I guess I'm back.

Tyle rzeczy się uzbierało, że nie wiem nawet jak zatytułować ten post. Popsułam sobie komputer i byłam odcięta przez trzy tygodnie. Bolesne. Wydaje mi się, że wróciłam. 

However, my dolls weren't dormant. Once in a while I got to take them out for a photoshoot.
On the first day of warmth this spring Lagoona crawled out from the water.

Jednak moje lalki nie były bezczynne. Od czasu do czasu mogłam zabrać je na sesję. 
Pierwszego ciepłego dnia tej wiosny Lagoona wypełzła z wody.
