I really enjoyed my first hour alone and with the dolls and camera in a long, long time.

 Once I saw this doll, I knew she might become my new grail. The mold is perfect. The traditional robe - nearly perfect. Animated movie origins - just the better.

Jak tylko zobaczyłam tę lalkę, wiedziałam, że może zostać moim nowym graalem. Mold jest doskonały. Tradycyjna suknia - niemal doskonała. Animowane pochodzenie - jeszcze lepiej.

My box came slightly torn, but I'm keeping her in it for a while anyway - it frames her perfectly. The back of the box is simply beautiful. I just took a sneak peek inside to see the shoes.

Pudełko przyszło nieco naddarte, ale zatrzymam ją na razie zapudełkowaną - stanowi dla niej idealne ramy. Tył pudełka jest po prostu piękny. Zajrzałam tylko do środka, żeby podejrzeć buty.

 I've finished some important work-related stuff and decided to reward myself. That might be the only good thing about 2020.

Skończyłam coś ważnego w pracy i postanowiłam się nagrodzić. To może być jedyna dobra rzecz w 2020.

I haven't seen the movie yet and do have some doubts about ethics surrounding it. But I love Mulan most of all Disney princesses.

Nie widziałam jeszcze filmu i mam pewne wątpliwości etyczne co do niego. Ale kocham Mulan najbardziej z wszystkich księżniczek Disneya.

Cyprus again

 I've been traveling for work recently. It got somewhat complicated nowadays. My little companion doll didn't even leave the hotel. We had only a few minutes between meetings and managing a toddler (yay for working moms!), but I had to document a successful travel in Covid-19 times.

Podróżowałam ostatnio w celach zawodowych. Zrobiło się to nieco skomplikowane. Moja mała lalkowa towarzyszka nie opuściła nawet hotelu.Miałyśmy zaledwie kilka minut pomiędzy spotkaniami a ogarnianiem przedszkolaka (hip hip dla pracujących mam!), ale musiałam udokumentować tę udaną podróż w czasach Covid-19.

Star Wars Stories, pt. 3 - Technical Decapitation

 In case you were curious, I've decapitated Hasbro's Star Wars Forces of Destiny Reys. Both of them. She fits the "light/pale" Obitsu.

Gdyby ktoś był ciekawy, zdekapitowałam Rey Forces of Destiny od Hasbro. Obie. Pasuje im jasne/blade Obitsu.

Both original bodies, due to molded clothes and hidden mechanisms are unacceptable to me. Some parts seemed promising, but I ended up giving up even on the somewhat nice palms, etc. Will keep the accessories and the head.

Oba ciałka, z powodu moldowanych ubrań i ukrytych mechanizmów są dla mnie nie do przyjęcia. Niektóre elementy wydawały się obiecujące, ale ostatecznie odpuściłam sobie nawet nieźle wyglądające dłonie, itd. Zatrzymam akcesoria i główkę.

Rey Forces of Destiny - head fix mechanism.

 The head is quite hard and the hole is rather small. I had to heat up the head properly.

Główka jest dość twarda, a dziura raczej mała. Musiałam porządnie rozgrzać główkę.

 

That's it, just ugly technical pictures today. I hope Rey will get a proper photo session one day.

 To by było na tyle, dzisiaj tylko brzydkie zdjęcia techniczne. Mam nadzieję, że Rey załapie się kiedyś na odpowiednią sesję fotograficzną.
